Stephen Woolley is an English film producer and director. He is best known for his work with director Neil Jordan, which has resulted in a number of critically acclaimed films including the Oscar-winning The Crying Game.
His successes as a producer include The Company of Wolves, Mona Lisa, and The Crying Game, and Interview with the Vampire, all directed by Neil Jordan. In 2005 Woolley made his directorial debut with Stoned. Other recent projects as producer from Number 9 Films with co-owner Elizabeth Karlsen include And When Did You Last See Your Father? directed by Anand Tucker; UK box office number one, How To Lose Friends & Alienate People starring Simon Pegg, Kirsten Dunst, Jeff Bridges and Megan Fox.

Simon Pearce

Since he first picked up the family video camera at the age of 13, Simon has had a keen interest in film-making. Be it editing, writing or directing, he continues to be hugely passionate about work in the medium. Receiving his only formal training from a weekly two hour production skills workshop held at the ITV Studios, in his hometown of Bristol, Simon found he learnt most of the skills from simply working on sets. From music videos to commercials, short dramas to corporate videos, Simon continues to work on a wide range of media projects, either on camera or as an editor. Some of his most prolific work to date includes assistant jobs on the feature film Casino Royale and on the BBC drama series Larkrise to Candleford.

Ken Loach

In 1966, Loach made the influential docu-drama Cathy Come Home portraying working class people affected by homelessness and unemployment, and presenting a powerful and influential critique of the workings of the Social Services. Soon afterwards with Poor Cow (1967) he started directing films for the cinema, and in 1969 made Kes, the story of a troubled boy and his kestrel, based on the novel A Kestrel for a Knave by Barry Hines. It probably remains his best known film in Britain.
